What is Turismatica?

• The platform used by the region Umbria for tourism statistics

  Turismatica is the official regional tourism statistics portal used in Umbria. Accommodation providers in this region are required to report guest arrivals, overnight stays, guest nationality and other stay details so regional authorities can compile official tourism statistics.

• Who must use Turismatica?

  All commercial and non-commercial accommodation providers in Umbria are required to use Turismatica, including hotels, B&Bs, agriturismi, guesthouses, vacation rentals and short-term rentals. Each accommodation receives access credentials from the local municipality or province.

Security and privacy for your guest data

• Secure handling of guest data

  Guest data is stored using encrypted connections and secure infrastructure. Trippz is SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Only the minimum data required for Turismatica, Alloggiati Web, and tourist tax is transmitted.

• EU hosting and GDPR compliance

  Trippz is based in the Netherlands and runs entirely on EU cloud servers. All data is handled under GDPR requirements and stays within the European Union.

• Do I still need my own Turismatica account?

  Yes. The same booking and guest data can be used to prepare Alloggiati Web guest registrations and to calculate tourist tax according to local rules. These services can be activated separately.
