  Use of Ricestat is a legal obligation for all commercial and non-commercial accommodation providers in Tuscany: hotels, B&Bs, agriturismi, guesthouses, holiday homes, short-term rentals, and more.
  Each property receives its own access credentials from the municipality or province where it is located.

• Secure handling of guest data

  Guest data is stored using encrypted connections and secure infrastructure. Trippz is SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Only the minimum data required for Ricestat, Alloggiati Web, and tourist tax is transmitted.

• Do I still need my own Ricestat account and credentials?

  Yes. You receive Ricestat credentials from your local province/municipality in Tuscany. In Trippz you enter those credentials once so reports can be prepared and sent for that account.

• Does Trippz also help with Alloggiati Web and tourist tax?

  Yes. The same bookings and guest data can be used for Alloggiati Web guest registrations and tourist tax. Trippz knows the tourist tax rules for your jurisdiction and can calculate the tax per stay, and if you activate automated collection it also collects the amounts from guests.

• Can I use Trippz if I only have one accommodation?

  Yes. Trippz works for a single apartment or room as well as for several accommodations. The price per accommodation is the same, you simply pay for the services you switch on.

• Is it allowed to use Trippz for Ricestat reports?

  Yes. Trippz uses your own Ricestat credentials and prepares the statistics in the structure the system expects. You remain responsible for meeting the legal requirements, but the manual work of exporting, counting and retyping data is handled inside Trippz.
