  No. Smoobu is a property management system (PMS) that helps you manage your vacation rentals. Trippz is private software that connects to your PMS and handles guest registration and tourist tax collection. Your legal obligations stay the same, but Trippz reduces the manual work.

• Do I still need my own Smoobu account?

  Yes. You request and manage your Smoobu account as usual. In Trippz, you link your Smoobu account so that bookings and guest data are automatically synchronized for easier management.

• How much does Trippz cost when connected to Smoobu?

  Trippz for Hosts is free to use. You only pay for additional services. The Alloggiati Web and ROSS1000 connection costs €4.00 per accommodation per month, and automated tourist tax collection costs €4.00 per accommodation per month. For professional hosts with multiple properties, we offer tiered pricing on our Trippz for Hosts page.

• Can I use Trippz if I only have one accommodation in Smoobu?

  Yes. Trippz works for a single property as well as for multiple accommodations. Pricing is per accommodation, and you pay only for the services you activate.

• Does Trippz also help with tourist tax?

  Yes. Trippz uses your bookings and guest data from Smoobu to calculate the tourist tax per stay. If you activate automated collection, Trippz collects the tax on your behalf for €4.00 per accommodation per month.

• Is it allowed to use Trippz with Smoobu for guest registration?

  Yes. Trippz uses your own credentials for the relevant compliance services (like Alloggiati Web in Italy) and sends the required guest data in the format the portal expects. You remain responsible for meeting legal obligations, but the manual work is greatly reduced.

• Can I use multiple integrations at the same time?

  Yes. You can connect your PMS and activate additional integrations, such as a Guest Registration Compliance service. This allows you to manage reservations, guest registration, and tourist taxes all through Trippz.
