Frequently asked Questions about Guesty

  • Is Trippz the same as Guesty?

No. Guesty is a property management system (PMS) that helps you manage your accommodations. Trippz is private software that connects to your PMS and handles guest registration and tourist tax collection. Your legal obligations stay the same, but Trippz reduces the manual work.

  • Do I still need my own Guesty account?

Yes. You request and manage your Guesty account as usual. In Trippz, you link your Guesty account so booking and guest data can be synchronized automatically.

  • How much does Trippz cost when connected to Guesty?

Trippz for Hosts is free to use. You only pay for additional services. The Alloggiati Web and ROSS1000 connection costs €4.00 per accommodation per month, and automated tourist tax collection costs €4.00 per accommodation per month. For professional hosts with multiple accommodations, tiered pricing is available on our Trippz for Hosts page.

  • Can I use Trippz if I only have one accommodation in Guesty?

Yes. Trippz works for a single accommodation as well as for multiple properties. Pricing is per accommodation, and you only pay for the services you activate.

  • Does Trippz also help with tourist tax?

Yes. Trippz uses your booking and guest data from Guesty to calculate the tourist tax per stay. If you activate automated collection, Trippz also collects the tax on your behalf.

  • Is it allowed to use Trippz with Guesty for guest registration?

Yes. Trippz uses your own credentials for the relevant guest registration compliance services (such as Alloggiati Web in Italy) and sends the required data in the correct format. You remain responsible for compliance, while Trippz handles the manual work.

  • Can I use multiple integrations at the same time?

Yes. You can connect your PMS and activate additional integrations, such as Guest Registration Compliance services, to manage everything through Trippz.
